Toddler ages: 24 months, 24 months, 3.5 years
Materials you'll need:
-Fruit Loops or Cheerios
-pipe cleaners
Instructions: Have your toddler(s) place the cereal onto the pipe cleaner. This activity is best done in conjunction with snack time.
Here is the fun....
...the 3-year-old boy...
...Twin A...
...Twin B...
Note of caution: Pipe cleaners can poke tender tongues, so have your toddlers sit down if they decide to eat the cereal off the pipe cleaners. No injuries occured during our activity, but I realized there is potential.
Enjoy!
This is a great idea! I’m starting a new MckLinky party called TOT TUESDAYS next week. I’d love it if you’d stop by & share your ideas. Here’s the information & my new buttons: http://delicious-ambiguity-nennyk.blogspot.com/2010/03/new-buttons-party.html Cheers, Jenn
ReplyDeleteLoved this one! We were asked if my son could (at his 3 year well child visit) lace beads... well, with the little babies, I haven't wanted to have beads around so I tried this instead! Yay! He really enjoyed it and bent the pipe cleaner into bracelets too!
ReplyDeleteI love your pictures! It kills me that the boys are often in their pajamas! I love knowing my so who is 2 is not the only one who stays in his pajamas a lot!
ReplyDeleteYour twins are adorable! Thanks for stopping by today. I love ideas on how to keep toddlers happy so I will most surely be back : )
ReplyDeleteI just stumbled upon all your blogs and I'm in love! It's crazy how similar our homes are, and we only have 5 kids (we're DONE!) ;) Not much TV going on at our house and people think it's nuts.
ReplyDeleteLove it! That looks like an activity here in sunny Sydney Australia tomorrow!
