Toddler age: 3.5 years
Materials you'll need:
-a cookie dough recipe conducive to rolling into little balls
If you have the patience, this is a very enjoyable activity for older toddlers. And apparently, the 14-year-old girl did have the patience, as she mediated this activity.
The 3-year-old's first attempt at rolling was successful, but his placement technique had much to be desired...

The 14-year-old girl fixed the problem, though, as the 3-year-old licked his fingers in preparation for the next ball of dough...

Soon enough he did seem to get the hang of it...

...and I'm grateful to the 14-year-old girl for her kindness and understanding during this process. If you don't have a 14-year-old girl yourself, you should seriously consider getting one! :) Thanks for listening.
