Flower Gardening Time

Toddler ages: 26 months, 26 months, 3.5 years

Materials you'll need:
-6-pack transplants
-1 small shovel per toddler
-pots
-potting soil

This activity was so fun, probably because I was the one taking the pictures, not digging in the dirt. Hope you have fun, too!

  1. How do you keep them from picking off the heads?!?!? Made the mistake of letting my toddler see me dead-heading the spent blooms!

  2. Elizabeth, yes, I've made the same mistake! I haven't with the twins, though, and they're very obedient to their father, which helps, so we didn't have much trouble. If they were just a few months younger, I think it would have been too difficult. Good luck, though, and thanks for your visit!
