Toddler ages: 22 months, 22 months, 3.5 years
Materials you'll need:
-a number of clementine tangerines
This may seem like an unorthodox activity, but the twins and 3-year-old loved it, it kept them occupied in the car, and it kept them out of trouble at the in-laws.
Clementine tangerines...
...are delicious and naturally easy to peel. I've even seen written as a selling point on clementine bags, "Easy-to-peel!" So not only do kids love how they taste, they feel good about themselves for being able to peel them like a big kid.

I love how Twin B neatly places the peelings on his leg...
....and the tangerine pieces between his legs...
...and how Twin A shares his snack with Dad...

The 3 three and under actually helped me prepare the meal by peeling so many clementines. Look how beautifully they turned out...
...but Twin A had his own ideas about when our side-dish would actually be served...
So, if you don't mind cleaning up tangerine peels, this is a great activity that will keep your toddler busy for as long as you can spare tangerines! Thanks for listening!
Believe it or not, I've never had a clementine! I will look for these at the grocery store tomorrow. Look at your little guy peeling it all by himself. My 3 year old would love to do that!
