Easy Photo Album Time

Toddler ages: 22 months, 22 months, 3.5 years

Materials you'll need:
-1/2- to 1-inch clear plastic binder
-sheet protectors
-printouts of family members, animals or other images your toddler enjoys

I have found that the twins are fascinated with photos of family members. However, since people usually place treasured photos in photo albums and scrap books, sometimes spending hours making each page (yes, I'm talking to you, Mom), these are not items we would want our toddlers to play with.

Here's a super-simple, quick way to make a photo album for your toddler...

Print out 1 8x10 or 2 5x7s on sheets of paper of favorite family members. What we did was choose two 5x7 photos of each family member, including Dad, Mom, the 20-year-old girl, the 17-year-old boy, the 14-year-old girl, the 13-year-old boy, the 9-year-old boy, the 7-year-old girl, the 3-year-old boy, the 22-month-boy, the 22-month-old boy, both grandpas, both grandmas, a favorite aunt and our dog.

We placed these, back to back, in the protective pages, then placed them in the binder, with the cover sporting a photo of our entire family, and the words "Johnny's Big Book About His Family".

Here's how much the twins love this book...

Soon, we will be making one with print-outs of Jesus, as the twins absolutely love looking at sacred artwork. Just goes to show how close little children are to the Savior. :)

Thanks for listening!

  1. Ok, that might work for me if I actually had printed pictures of family members. I'm so bad, all my pictures are still stuck on my computer!!!
