Toddler ages: 23 months, 23 months
Materials you'll need:
-a large plastic tub
-dishwasher soap or bubble bath
-measuring cups or other scoopers
Again, the 7-year-old girl came up with this idea so thank you, 7-year-old girl!
We filled our large plastic tub with water and bubbles, then set it on two towels to absorb the collateral damage...
Without further ado, the fun began. First, the twins immediately followed their sister's example and placed bubbles on their heads...
Then they enjoyed pouring the bubble water back into the tub with measuring cups...
...and picking up bubbles in their measuring cups and showing them to me...
One of Twin A's favorite things to do was hide his measuring cup under the bubbles and pretend he didn't know where it was...
...then Twin B would dig it out and find it for him...
This was repeated many times...
...but didn't end well when Twin B eventually decided to pour the contents of the measuring cup onto Twin A's head...
(I chose not include a photo of Twin A's reaction.)
All in all, the twins had great fun, and kudos to the 7-year-old girl again for coming up with a such great idea! Thanks for listening.
